Church cover schools (sometimes called umbrella schools) are a way to homeschool legally in Alabama.
We’re so glad you decided to stop by! Whether you are looking for a “cover school” to legally homeschool in Alabama, or you are already a member of our group, we are happy to have you here!
Let me encourage you to look through all of the tabs—-there is information scattered over the whole site, and the separate pages were designed to help you find what you need, and me to keep it all organized. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
I also encourage the families in our school to check the Facebook page! This is your best way to stay up-to-date with anything and everything having to do with our school.
Where to Begin!?!
1. The first thing to do is get in touch with us by email (revsalinas@charter.net) or phone (256-794-1546).
2. We’ll send you (via email) or you can download a Registration/Enrollment packet.
3. Mail or deliver your completed forms and payment to DCA.
4. We will file it with your local School Board.
5. Decide and obtain needed curriculum.
6. Enjoy outings and get-togethers (only if you want).
